These models look fuckballs beautiful by themselves, as I think the thread clearly shows, but -especially- so for this kind of game. Comparing to the other games in THIS subgenre, BG3's characters look fuckballs amazing. You can't compare graphics across genres. This is not a 10-hour AAA shooter or action title with barely any story, dialogue, or mechanics. I feel like this thread may lead to Larian thinking that their current character creation and models are fine when they are very evidently and comparatively to other similar priced games not, and a lot of improvement still needs to be made.Īre you literally smoking the crack rock? To be honest its not super interesting at this point when all the character creation options are so linear and limited, and all the characters in this thread, to no fault of the players, look nothing even close to how they should look for a $60 game being made in 2020. It made it so much easier when I embraced and owned playing a character with ghoulish features. After playing through with an attractive elf I settled for just playing ugly characters for the rest of my time with the series. I eventually made a decent looking character, but only after restarting over and over again.

I donâ€™t know who at BioWare thought it was a good idea to create your character in the dark, but they deserve 10,000 years of shame. It was rather frustrating however since some that looked good in CC turned out to be absolute monstrosities in-game, so patience (and rerolls) truly was the virtue and you actually deserved some bragging rights with a good screenshot I don't know about you but I've made many good looking PCs (mostly female though, so my insight into male character creator might be limited). Now Dragonâ€™s Dogma- these was a character creator worth remembering. I spent hours in that, not because it was great but because it was awful. Donâ€™t remind me of DAO character customization.
